I am a graduate of the University of Toronto and Laurentian University. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work. My focus is working with individuals in the areas of trauma, attachment and relationships, as well as self-regulation. I have completed additional studies in the areas of traumatology, self-compassion, Polyvagal Theory, Safe and Sound Protocol, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Levels 1 & 2), EMDR, Attachment Focused EMDR (Parnell Institute), and Self-Reg. In addition to individual therapy services, I also partner with Play, LEARN, Think to deliver informative workshops on the effects of trauma and the importance of play!
I am a life-long learner who bases much of my work on current neuroscience research and theory. I emphasize in my practice the importance of brain/body methods for finding relief from issues like anxiety, depression, and symptoms associated with physical or mental trauma.
